Vulcan Moto

Modular Motorcycle Helmets

A modular helmet gives you two helmets in one. Close the chin bar for full-face coverage on the highway, or flip it up for open-face convenience at a stop. Vulcan Moto's modular range is the biggest in the store, in solid colors, racing stripes and bold graphics.

How to choose a modular helmet

Why choose a modular helmet

If you commute, tour or ride with a passenger, you spend as much time stopped as moving. A flip-up chin bar lets you talk, pay for fuel or breathe at a light without taking the helmet off.

Look for the details

Most modular models here include a built-in inner sun visor, and many have a side vent dial. Some product photos also show a clip-on Bluetooth module on the side — accessories pictured may not be included, so check the product description.

Ride with the chin bar closed

A flip-up chin bar is for stops. Close and latch it before you move off, so you ride with full-face coverage.

Getting the size right

Wrap a soft tape measure around your head just above the eyebrows and ears, then compare it with the Size Guide in each product window. Vulcan Moto helmets come in S to XXL. A helmet should feel snug all round with no pressure points — it should not rock when you shake your head.

What is inside every helmet

All Vulcan Moto helmets are DOT certified, with a multi-density EPS impact-absorbing liner, a lightweight composite shell, a multi-point ventilation system and removable, washable interior padding.
